Carb issue

Post by Martyn41 » Mon Jul 17, 2017 7:16 am

I have just had a mechanic strip and clean my Carbs...
He is sure they have never been striped before...
Although the Diaphrams are fine, he says 2 of the needles are badly worn.
Looking on line, I can find the Diaphrams complete with needles but not
the needles ...separately
Does anyone know where I can get them ? Or if some from another model will fit ? Or have some good ones from a set with knackered diaphrams

No clue for the Divy carbs, sorry. You'll need to find a way to get the P/N's for the Euro bikes (we got different carbs in the US). You might also have to go used and look for a set without significant wear. Here's some on Ebay that look alright to me: ... Sw-itXvjLn
