Hazard flashers

Hello,
Does anyone tried to install hazard flashers in a 1994 xj 600s diversion with the original left side switch 1998 gear and original hazard relay? if affirmative how can we do it?

It should be possible. You'll have to rewire the signal circuit to provide a common circuit for the hazards. It shouldn't be that difficult; maybe the '98 switch, a relay to toggle the hazard functionality, and connection into the power wires for both side circuits. I'm not certain but a diode may be required to prevent electric flow through the signal relay.

I surfed the web and came out with this solution; Image using the hazard lights system independent from the original flashers circuit. I already bought the necessary relays and swith (not the one in the picture but a better one waterproof) for the job.

I have used a switch in the said picture in the rain and sun for at least 2 years and it still work normally....
can share any pics of alternative waterproof switches?...
