It occurred to me that I hadn't posted the specs for the valve seat o-rings. Well, here they are.

I've found a readily available alternative. They are 8mm ID with a thickness of approximatley 1.5mm:

McMaster Carr P/N 9262K445 which sells for $13.10 for a bag of 100.

I just ordered these, they're far too big.

I measured out a 6mm ID, 10mm OD (2mm thickness) and it fit much better and seated more snug into the carb.

Here is the updated part number/link to McMaster for these:
McMaster Carr P/N 9262K166 which sells for $4.66 for a bag of 100.

I'm going to call tomorrow to see if they can do an exchange.
If I only had an hour to live I would spend it at work, because in there an hour feels like an eternity.

Hello, i don't what kind of chemicals you use to clean your carbs, don't know those brands here in Portugal. But in my old days working with those stuff we use a kind of cresol very cheap product selled in our drug stores mainly used for disinfestation and disinfection. It's a very strong product that makes you carbs shine. We just have to leave the carbs inside that cresol during the night and then wash it with water and blow with air to dry out
