Suzuki bandit rear wheel for XJ600

Anyone tried mounting a rear wheel frm a different manufacturer?
I'm thinking of mounting a Suzuki bandit rear wheel on xj600. I'm just afraid it might not fit. Looking at bandit as i was offered one and being 17", I don't have problem finding tyres. And it fits above 150 width.
Anyone has any advice on what to look out for in doing this mod?
