Gauges for Naked Conversion

I've bought and installed this one:

Not a bad looking gauge. Clean and simple. How's the tach response?

somewhere in between i will use something like this: the lights will be fitted on a piece of floor plate with this texture: or something similar (there are aluminium plates with this texture)

Just have a quick look around eBay, there are plenty of cheap Chinese units worth a look. Just make sure you get one that is at least ip68 rated, that's how well sealed it is from the elements.

And I'd anyone else has one of these, the well circumference setting is around 1850, that well show 30mph at about 27mph.
Better safe than sorry

Has anyone successfully invented an acceptable naked version of xj600s gauges ? Or are they too bulky to be messing with?
