I know I said 'No Rules' but I am going to add one. To collect the treasure, you must gather the clues on your bike, whether it be an XJ, a Triumph, an SV650 or even an FJ1200. The clues are written and hidden in such a way that getting there and gathering them is meant to be done on the back of a two-wheeled machine.

Well I was planning a trip around California this month but now you have me thinking I should head elsewhere.
DANGIT radare. Well...

A question - is there a confirmation of finding the first clue? or will we just "know"?

There is a confirmation and several have found it. Once you find the first clue, it'll tell you where the second clue is. Ride to that spot and from there, it will become a point-to-point ride. AFAIK, nobody has ridden out and retried the second clue.

Working my way out on the Bonneville to verify that the closest treasure clue is still where I left it. Photos and confirmation to follow. Somebody go find these!

Was planning to leave this Sunday to head out there. Had it all mapped and planned, started packing and all. Then, plans changed...as usual. In a big way. More on that later...

So...what he said... Somebody go get those parts!

As far as I know, no.

I may end up giving up on it and posting the parts for sale.

Sorry man. I really wanted to. We were planning it, had it all mapped out with camping stops and everything, but the week before, it fell through. It's hard to plan a huge trip like that with a big busy family. I still wish I could cuz I know it'd be a blast (along with the great parts haul), but it's just too big a trip for my busy schedule (~4k miles and 10 days or so of steady riding).

Shoot, just missed it. I probably would have been crazy enough to ride all the way out to colorado for that stuff hehe.

Still have that rear shock for sale by any chance?
