Going to ride Phantom Canyon Road.
You will love Phantom Canyon. Its a good ride. I did it a couple years ago on a stock, fared XJ.

Pack plenty of water and a first aid kit just in case.

The first few miles of canyon road south of Victor is really rocky. But after that, the roads aren't bad.

Is this thread dead? I'm new to the forum and I'd like to enter this challenge :)

Yeah, it's dead.

No reason you couldn't do the ride though. Post up about it, maybe someone will follow suit.

I won't have any time to moderate anything that goes on for several months, though, so unless someone wants to take over the idea, you're on your own.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

I might pick it up. I could use a reason to become more involved in the site.

Nice challenge. The trouble is the amount of time it costs. ;)

These bikes are made for riding . . . and that's just what we'll do. . . some day were gonna take these bikes and ride on the . . . Backroad 350.

BTW, I ordered some sweet die-cut vinyl stickers for this bad boy. I didn't use Ed's design since its his. And I think it'll become the Backroad 250 to try and coerce participation.

The 250 may be just so much more doable for me personally. Gonna have a look at the map and report back when the plan crystalises :)

LOL, that is right. However, there is also something like family and business and sports that take up a lot of my time. And I mean, a lot. ;)

I think 250 is a much better idea. ;)
