Lake Superior Tour

Tomorrow I leave with some family on a 2000+ mile, 12 day tour of Lake Superior and am all sorts of giddy with anticipation. This will be my first extended motorcycle trip other than a few overnights here and there. I've had my XJ for about a month now, logged around 1000 miles and can't wait to ride more. It will also be my first attempt at a trip blog/ride report so that should be a fun experience as well. I was planning on just posting on my Wordpress page and if you fancy, you can follow me from there. However, if everyone thinks it would make a better experience for the forum, I'll repost everything on here.
