Went to pick the misses up from work at 7:45am this morning and with it having been foggy lastnight the frost on the road had frozen to ice on the un-gritted road out side her work.

Rid the bike up the drop curb and went to do a U-Turn same as everyday for the last 2 years and bam down it went as the rear wheel didn't grip the drop curb instead it slid along it.

Commando rolled out of it like a boss, jumped straight up and started thinking Sh*t, Sh*t, Sh*t my brand new fairings, screen and top box.

Turned around to see the bike held up off the floor by the gear shifter and handlebar, nothing else at all touched the floor, not even a scratch, how lucky is that : ) did bend the gear shifter though.

Second surprise was that it fired back up straight away without hesitation.
