Afternoon all,


So I finally got round to getting a project bike... and got a bargain.... bike has been sitting in a barn for 2 or 3 years and is in need of a complete overhaul!! So while I'm at it I tough I'll make it my own, my ideas my design MYbike!

Here's the before pics!

Any tips are appreciated... and I'll update as I go...

This is how she sits just now,

So far she's been

Stripped ready for the Seat building
Calipers off to have refurbed and coated gold (colour may change)
Tank off for stripping and painting
Rear shock replaced with an FZ6 rear shock (1/8th higher to level out the seat)


Ordered a load of parts that you will see as the build continues

And hopefully this week she will be in the Fab shop! For the seat build....

Yeah 400’s are pretty rare in the U.K.

Just back from the fabricators and he’s doing a cracking job! He’s still got the tray and battery box to do, but I’m well pleased so far...

He’s really busy so may not have the bike back till January!

Any thoughts ?
