This is how she sits just now,

So far she's been

Stripped ready for the Seat building
Calipers off to have refurbed and coated gold (colour may change)
Tank off for stripping and painting
Rear shock replaced with an FZ6 rear shock (1/8th higher to level out the seat)

Ordered a load of parts that you will see as the build continues

And hopefully this week she will be in the Fab shop! For the seat build....

Don't see many 400's here. Interested in seeing where this goes.

Yeah 400’s are pretty rare in the U.K.

Just back from the fabricators and he’s doing a cracking job! He’s still got the tray and battery box to do, but I’m well pleased so far...

He’s really busy so may not have the bike back till January!

Any thoughts ?

Another update.....

Finally got the bike Home after moving house and getting through Christmas and changing jobs.... it’s been a busy few months... so time to get cracking...

The frame work for the cafe racer is complete and the under tray for the battery & electrics done.

Calipers and were seized so had to track down a replacement rear, hopefully have them back from the powder coaters soon.

Going to strip and rebuild the forks, then dry build the bike before stripping for powder coating...

Feedback welcome....
