Welcome to my "lost hope" project
IMG_20150715_161033.jpg
why lost hope well I started it and lost hope but I'm going back to it again I have never done a project blog before so here goes.

P.s know it's been asked before anyone know any tanks that fit or close too fit?

To do list:
R1/r6 front end
Tank swap/custom
Test fz6 tank fitment
Cut frame (done reason I started it again)
Swing arm swap not sure yet
Custom exhaust either under seat or er6 style
Normal paint and other such things
Rear shock already swapped

Hoping to have some fun and share my journey

Now this picture is terrible but it gives a rough idea of what I'm thinking
:D

So small update of how I plan to have to seat not sure of how long to have it might have it bit shorter than in the picture. Once I have that welded on my plan is to do a Ducati style frame to attach the bottom :)

Ok so update went to do a couple bits today finish cutting the frame and such and there was a change of plan. New plan is chop/bobber style...ish low short seat with forward controls and some bigger bars :o

Don't lose hope. Don't over think it. Pick one item and focus on that. Before you know it you'll be done. Good luck, can't wait to see the final product.

Hi Docfight
With the seat hoop and it depends on what you wish to do but finishing it over the axle of the rear wheel is a good idea.
In saying that, I would definitely source the seat first before committing.
It's about the journey not the destination.

Cheers guys I'm not very good at picking one thing at a time fortunately this isn't my day to day bike but that is also in bits having work done says it all lol

But for the seat the idea was as short as possible perfect sort of sitting size I'll be making a custom seat one less thing to worry about:)
