Radare,

So I'm in the middle of cleaning my carbs and I need one or two butterfly's, do you remember where you got them or part number? I am having trouble find them online. Thank you sir!

I didn't replace my butterflies and so I didn't have to source replacements. The carbs are bds26 carbs. You might see if you can find some generic replacements. As far as I can tell, though, they're not available separately.

Perhaps a better idea is to post in the items wanted forum and see if anyone has spares.

Ah I see what you meant, you were talking about the seals for the butterflies. I think I was so excited that someone might know where to get new butterflies that I read into what I wanted it to say. I will do some more searching :type:

Thanks!

Pulled the old girl out of the garage, after a LONG winter's nap. She was dusty and needing a bit of air in the tires but she fired right up. Here she is, still yawning:

I then rode her out for coffee and made a short tour of the local freeway system before returning home. Nothing like a quick blast down I70 to blow the dust off. On the short to-do for this year are a sump gasket replacement, an oil change and a carburetor tuning. And can you believe I've already had her long enough for the plates to expire?

Perhaps that most appropriate name for this beauty is "The Master's Piece" :kudos:

She already has a name - Orange Julius! And I want to own her - but she just won't be owned - a true wild mare. :)
