It does look good, but with it sweeping back so far, you might have to get creative and find a way to mount it to the head tube. If it's mounted to the headlight/forks, the screen is going to swing a lot and may hit your arms or face when turning.

Have you considered reshaping one of those fiberglass fairings for an early cb750. Totally custom affair with a retro look.

I do really like the look of that fairing as well. Its about the only piece of plastic the xj needs.
