Hello every body I have been waiting to do this for a while but better late than never. my name is Frank and Im from LA california! :geek:
im a little  but I love to tinker with what I have!

meet my project! she is dirty but I  her. :

I know what you are thinking it's in ruff shape but it was in a lot worse! I didn't document the removal of the gas tank and all the blockage of RUST!!! in the petcock! :wallbash: or the three day pine sol soak but I wet my diaphragm with carb cleaner, so i was ready to clean it, mount it and test it and she is alive!!!!
the carbs are clean and the gold plated wasn't eaten by the 60% pine sol 30% water.

I took off both of the foot pegs and soda blasted it

I found that my tank was rustier than i thought!!! so i took the tank off and im going to derust with AQUARIUM GRAVEL.
I went to PETCO and picked up two bags aquarium gravels, but I really only needed one of the bag!
Image

so first step I taped both openings with duct tape!!

I opened the gas tank and put the gravel inside the gas tank and shake the crap out of it!!! "or if your old ladys not home wrap it up in towels and throw it into the dryer on fluff (dont want heat)"
Image

after five minutes of agressive shaking!!!

thats all for the tank....

there are a lot of things I need to do to my seca! thank you to every one on this forum for helping me get my baby running!!
i will be making VLOGS "video logs" on her so stay tuned.

UPDATE>2-7-12

well I have a lot to update about!
i took the bike in to my friends mechanic and he dyne tuned the carb and did a little work!

I got I thought it would be different to completely plasti dip my Seca!!! this is her and I'm finishing the front tire fender! ^^
ino ino  but it doesn't look all that bad for 15 dollar plasti job BAHAHA

This was only a experiment but after it wears off I'm planning on:
sanding and prepping for paint!
ABS crack repairing two fenders
and doing a full Naked conversion!
I will be updating fairly soon :grenade:

Aquarium rocks, duct tape, towels(or blankets) and a dryer on fluff. Great idea!

Here all this time I thought you were from Louisiana. L.A. can be a little confusing without the periods. :brow:
That aquarium gravel probably did a decent job but wouldn't have been able to get at the rust in the seams so if you get a chance it wouldn't hurt to use a little phosphoric acid in there. :geek:

Better to be over the hill than under it.
