So im gathering ideas on what to do with my yellow seca, and def converting to naked look. Some parts i found, and some i would like to ask you seasoned XJ riders for help. things i am looking for...

XJ600N rear fairing( its shorter, looks 1000 better IMO)

a nice set of inexpensive analog gauges (that fit properly, stock ones look like they are from a 1970's econocar)

engine guard (found a few online they go for 130$ and up!) i really like the small curved one on radare's 92 bike

P.S. been trying to post a photo for you guys but everytime i goto gallery it says, this user has been ban from using this site :what:

P.P.S.S if anyone has what im looking for i am willing to trade for my stock part, or buy em of you, thanks for all the help in advance :grins:

I think the tail you're looking for is the 1997 forward tail. The xj600n and the xj600s share the same tail within a given model year.

For the gallery, you have to register. Its a separate program from the board. Id recommend registering with the same username and password you use to access the board, to make it easier.

Slimtech just did a chop on the side fairing its worth taking a look at and much cheaper than the ones radare has and you already have the fairings lol

i saw what Slimtech did and it's a lil to much, im not trying to have the wiring flap around while im riding. I would just like to have it smaller, like the 97's and up. Also, has anyone had any luck putting different bike fairings on without cutting the frame up?

You can always take the pattern of the 97 and 98 XJs and mimic it with paint, use a bit of black in the right spots to minimize the appearance of the bottom section.
